As a “moving on” step, the day the new full album is made available, all previous Sinsect material will no longer be available. No free downloads, no sales, nothing. I’ll be storing the tracks away on a drive, and forgetting about them.
I’m looking at a Fall release, so you have until then to download all the old crap.

I’ll pick 2 or 3 of my favorites for inclusion on the self-released full album. Winners will be fully creditted. Any remixes not picked for the album will be made available for free download.

between the day job, the dallas suspension convention (yay hooks!) and some unpaid freelance web work, i have not had any time or energy to work on music for 3 weeks. which i guess is actually fine, since i’ve not been happy with the way any of the mixes are turning out. and i have to finish at least one track to send to someone in london who may actually provide some awesome vocals. she’s a professional opera singer. and i have to put together some stuff for a couple collaborations and/or remixes (yes, pill brigade, i have not forgotten).
it looks like the full album will be 11 tracks, plus a couple of remixes or collabs. the original tracks are completely reworked versions of traumamatik and the trauma sessions demos, plus 2 brand spankin new ones.
I’m going to self release this on cd, and have it on itunes and the rest of the digital stores. i’ll have an official release date when it gets closer to being finished.
and now the bug needs sleep.
I hate when new songs don’t work…i just don’t seem to be able to put anything together that i’m even remotely happy with…so i’m just going through the traumamatik songs and the trauma sessions and reworking/remixing them. fuck it…i’m thinking about getting it mastered and self releasing it all as one “debut album”…we shall see…
